A Studio Built on Movement

We believe dance is best when it is shared, so we built a studio where beginners and seasoned dancers alike feel welcome from their very first step. Our experienced and enthusiastic teachers bring real warmth to every session, and they make sure each student walks out feeling energized, joyful, and full of the passion that dance has to offer.

New York Dance Center offers dance lessons for all ages and skill levels, in both group and private formats. Couples come to us for wedding dance lessons to prepare for that first spin as newlyweds, while others book private dance lessons to work one on one at their own pace. Our group dance lessons are a great way to meet people and learn alongside others, and our kids dance lessons give younger students a fun, encouraging place to start.

We are knowledgeable across many genres, so there is room to grow here no matter what draws you to the floor. On any given week, you might find us teaching jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and bachata, along with stretching sessions and creative dance for the little ones. We are also highly experienced in choreographing routines for weddings, showcases, and other important events, so the moments that matter look exactly the way you imagined.

Beyond the studio floor, we offer custom gown making and gown alterations, so you can feel confident in what you wear as well as how you move. In 2005, Westchester Magazine named us Best Ballroom Dance Studio, a recognition we are still proud of.
